Students, if you are interested in Summersalt, June 18-22, please sign up and make a deposit of $50 by February 5th.
Simply put, SummerSalt is the most spiritually stimulating, challenging, and encouraging five days you can provide for your students. Students are engaged from the moment they arrive at SummerSalt. From check-in, to Bible studies and worship, to team building games and competition, and even a nightly drama, the yearly theme is swirled through it all. Each day begins with a high energy morning worship and celebration then transitions to an individual devotion time. Students then participate in group Bible studies where they are creatively taught the content and application of the Bible. These same groups then grow together through team building games, a ropes course challenge, volleyball, and lake and pool competitions against other teams. Students also have the opportunity to study specific doctrinal topics each afternoon. The day concludes with evening worship. This creative worship time includes an on-going drama that correlates to the theme and Bible studies, which gives a visual reinforcement of everything the students are learning. Camp is for finished 6th- 12th grades.

"A place where you can love God,
love one another,
and love God's world!"
A dock is a wooden platform built over water, with one end secured to the shore. The platform is used for the boarding and offloading of small boats. The present day use also includes: fishing, sight-seeing, walking, swimming, and even has shops. A dock is a safe place where someone could stand and observe without having to make a commitment to be in the depths of a body of water. In the same way, "The Dock" is a safe place where students can come to hear and see the biblical Jesus in a new and fresh way without being threatened. Hopefully, each student will leave desiring to make a commitment to jump from the dock and into the depths! Jesus tells the disciples to come and follow him and that he would make them into fishers of men. The Dock will challenge students to become followers of Jesus and encourage them to jump into the depths by becoming fishers of men. So, come out and experience "The Dock" on Wednesday nights at Saluda River Baptist from 6:30 pm until 8:00 pm.
